Something Pretty!

I am really into covering Journals lately, as I believe they are such a nice gift to receive, as they can be made to be so personal...This journal was made for my friend Mel who is a Stamp Club member and a great friend...

This Journal has a page marker that is tied to the ring binder with some Pretty in Pink Tafeta ribbon, and some beads from the Pretties kit. These journals can be alot of fun to create, well I think so anyway....I hope you liked it Mel!

Christmas DVD Gift Box

Sorry everyone who views my blog for my lack of posting lately....busy times....lol

Here I have created a Christmas DVD box, a great pressy idea for Christmas just around the corner. This little project and idea was inspired and cased by my SU friend Penny...Hi Pen!

I have used my favourite Christmas set (like everyone else it seems...) Season of Joy to create. Also DSP Dashing, Red, Old Olive and Very Vanilla cardstock. You will notice also that the red band around the DVD box has been crimped for added texture, although the picture does not really show this...Also used is the Real Red 1/4" ribbon and the Horizontal slot punch.

Hope you like, and they are really easy to whip up!

Something a little different from Me - Scrapbooking!

Here is a Scrapbook page I have created for a workshop I have tomorrow...Hi Barb and June!
I have chosen a "Friends" theme as you cant live without your friends, and the colours are bright and happy, just like my friends are. My very dear friends in the photo are Kate, Lia, Nicola, and Elisha.....Hi girls!
I love to scrapbook, but I find it a bit hard to create a page for a workshop as we all have so many different styles and tastes...I hope it is ok and you like it!..
SU products used to create:
Real Red 12x12, Blue Bayou, River Rock, Old Olive cardstock.
DSP Summer Picnic and a piece of paper out of Simply Scrappin kit - Confetti.
Old Olive ribbon, and Die cuts from the Spring mini.....I LOVE these so much!!!
True Friend, Simply Said, Live Your Dream and Baroque Motifs Stamp sets, and Rhinestones and brads...

More Chrissy Cards!

Here are some more Christmas cards I have recently created in one of my other Stamp-a-Stacks I have had....although I cant remember what cards went with what class so I am just posting them now as "Christmas"...lol

SU Products used to create:Old Olive, Purely Pomegranate and Very Vanilla cardstock.
So Swirly roller with Always Artichoke roller cartridge.
Season of Joy Stamp Set.
DSP Holiday Harmony and Purely Pomegranate Satin Ribbon.
Scallop, Round Tab and both circle punches. As you will see I have created a circle window in the card front where the scallop embellishment is sitting. This has been created with the Round Tab punch. Very clever hey!

SU Products used to create:
Real red, Garden green Old Olive, Very vanilla and Silver from the Brushed Metalics cardstock.
Short and Sweet Stamp set.
DSP Dashing.
Real Red 1/4" Grosgrain ribbon.
Scallop punch, Large Star punch, Circle and Word window punches.
Mat pack for peircing holes on stars for an added effect.

SU Products used to create:
Handsome Hunter and Whisper White cardstock.
Season of Joy and Live Your Dream Stamp set.
5/8" Real Red ribbon, Dazzling Diamonds. I have used a dimensional for centre of the ribbon and dipped it into the Dazzling Diamonds for some added bling!. I have also in the centre of all the flowers (hard to see as not a great photo) put the Dazzling Diamonds on them with the two way glue pen....looks better in real life! Hope you like...

Anyway, that is me for another day...I will be back soon to post some more...cya

My Daddy's Birthday!!

I am such a BAD BLOGGER as it has been so long since I have posted something on my blog....(Sorry..) I had all good intentions to have posted way before this but never got around to it!. As you will notice though my blog has had a face lift (thanks to the ideas from Tracy and Melissa) so I have been a bit busy behind the scenes, and have made a bit to post now to, so keep watching over the next week or so and I will post some more for you all to see.....Thanks for your patience...I hope you like my new blog page and creations to...

Here is a card I created for my little Charlotte to give to her Daddy for his birthday tomorrow (14th October)...I hope he likes it as it was a bit of a rush...as per normal....lol

I tried to create the look of two presents sitting on top of each other with a bow tied around it. It kind of looked a bit better what I had in my mind, than the way it actually turned out, but oh well....lol...

I have used the following Stampin' Up! products to create this card:

Night of Navy, Close to Cocoa, Brocade Blue and Creamy caramel Cardstock.
DSP Spring Showers
Aluminium circle and square tags, Natural hemp twine
Round Tab punch for the tag
and the stamp sets used were Birthday Best (used with my bold brights markers) and Defining Alphabet for the word "Daddy".

All in all, it is a pretty simple card!...
